Kathy Williams is the Managing Field Associate of Advance Financial Solutions. Mrs. Williams began her career in the financial services industry in 1980 right out of college. She holds the Series 26 (Registered Principal), Series 7, Series 6, Series 65 (Registered Investment Advisor) and Series 63 Securities Registrations. She also holds her Life and Health and Variable Insurance licenses. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leader from Southern Nazarene University and is currently pursuing her Certified Financial Planner Designation from Oklahoma City University.
Mrs. Williams often quoted in online magazines, The Oklahoman, Journal Record, Black Enterprise as well as featured on local television stations. Kathy is a sought after speaker retelling her story of how she is learning to over coming many obstacles in her life . Her down to earth story motivates others to let them know all things are possible with the help of The Most High God. She says the keys are: "making decisions to eliminate excuses, understand the road will be hard with work to be done and Refusing to Give up!"
Kathy is currently working on her first book, I Refuse to Be Broke and I'm Not Gonna It! The core emphasis is Faith + Being Grateful + Believing Needs will be met - Excuses = ABUNDANCE. It challenges one to improve financial education, potentialities and purpose in order to help obtain financial freedom. The book is expected to come out for publications January, 2011.
Mrs. Williams holds memberships in various organizations such as the Financial Planning Association, Leadership Oklahoma City, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and Chums, Inc. She is married to Bobby Williams with four children. A cofounder of The Shawna Nicole Williams Memorial Scholarship, Inc. with her husband, it is a 501©3 organization which offers scholarships to high school seniors. www.shawnawilliams.org.
Darmaine Davis is the assistant and client service coordinator of Advance Finacial Solutions. He is currently a senior at The University of Central Oklahoma. His goals are to pursue his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University and practice corporate law. Darmaine accepts all service request which are then forwarded to Ms. Williams from our clients as well as schedule their quaterly review appointments, prepares for compliance audits, clerical duties and provides assistance for www.shawnawilliams.org.
